Cotton and linen twill (fustian) with napped face embroidered with bright colored wools in a design of leaves and flowers growing from undulating stems. On them is a pink bird with a blue head and blue and yellow wings and tail. The colors are blues, browns, greens, yellows, reds, and a little neutral violet. Made to go with 19.67 and 19.596-19.610. Mostly Roumanian couching stitch used for solid sections of the stems, leaves, flowers and bird; stem stitch for outlines and thin stems; double back stitch lines with star motifs on blue flower on left; herringbone stitch used for a few thin leaves; bullion stitches used on center of red flower
