DescriptionBedcover. Woodblock printed in red with black outlines and white details on a blue ground. Design of Chinese vases, books and flowers adapted by J.J. Pearman of the Bannister Hall print-works near Preston, Lancashire, from a Chinese woodblock print (33.601), possibly through the intermediary of a French woodblock print issued at Jouy around 1785. Same print as 49.325.
