DescriptionField of individual motifs of exotic birds, flowers and pagodas; border alternating peacocks and flowers. Tadpole-like motifs dot whole cover. Red, green, yellow, pink, blue and brown silk yarns and metallic yarns worked chiefly in chain stitch through cotton ground and cotton lining. Cream silk yarns worked in back stitch to create chevron pattern across entire ground. Good condition, colors bright, a few very small stains and holes.
