Design: large gold central oval medallion with shallow scalloped edges, enclosing central full blown carnation with other carnations radiating from it; one fourth of central medallion repeated in each corner of bedspread; over body of bedspread large scale sprays of carnation on delicate stems. Worked with red, pinkish red, pinkish purple, ivory, a little light neutral yellow silks, and gold thread in satin, stem, knot, and variety of couching stitches. Bound with green tape.
