"Found inside a statue of Tamon-ten, once owned by the Jôshin-in, Nakano-kawa ... Owned by Mr. Mosaku Ishida, Nara" (Ishida 1964, p. 124). According to Spaulding collection notes, the statue was in the Kansetsu Hashimoto collection at the time the Spaulding print was acquired. For a photo of the image, see Mitsui 1986, p. 154.
