DescriptionThis straight-sided, almost bell-shaped beaker is polished black over its entire surface and decorted with horizontal bands of incised, stippled lines on the body and the base.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus XB (K XB). 1914: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
