Small black-topped redware bowl with a highly polished black interior (both vertically and horizontally burnished), horizontally burnished exterior, and white salt speckles all over the outside finish.

Provenance

From Dakka (ASN101/221/3). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
