This somewhat tall shouldered jar, of black-topped redware, has a slightly pulled rim. Ancient repair holes indicate an ancient break. It is currently broken as well.

Provenance

Bahan. (ASN 17/49). 1907: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; awarded to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
