White (cream colored) satin, trimmed with white lace. Gathered at waist all around; elbow-length sleeves, full at shoulder; narrow, standing collar. Large, cosmos-like flowers, some with stems, made of coarse lace and applied down front center, at shoulders, around neck and on front of sleeves. Base of collar and ends of sleeves trimmed with white net, machine-embroidered somewhat in imitation of raised Venetian point. Front slightly pointed; back straight. Waistband inside has woven label: “Phillips/Cleveland.”
