DescriptionStick-up decoy in the form of a heron, neck bent downwards. Stand (probably modern) consists of two pieces of driftwood attached to a stained wooden board.
ProvenanceMid-20th century, found near Pottstown, Pennsylvania, by Edith Gregor Halpert of the Downtown Gallery (New York); from the Downtown Gallery to Maxim Karolik; 1958, gift of Maxim Karolik to the MFA.
