A triangular piece of white cotton. Gathered and sewed to the long side are three pieces of bobbin lace. The widest one has a design of conventional flowers and a hexagonal reseau. The nest border has a design of single conventional flowers in profile. The outer border, single flower or leaf forms and a picot edge. On each side of the lace is a band of blue silk, embroidered with black silk. The top of the cap is embroidered with blue silk and white cotton and in a design of discs, diamonds and leaf-like forms suggesting conventional flowers. On one end are the letters A or X? B. Similar to 90.203 (T.1043).
