White satin ground, embroidered in satin, stem, and couching stitches with yellow, blue, green and white silk yarns, metallic yarns, purl and fancy wire, and gilded spangles. Two main panels show cockatoos, floral sprigs and caterpillars. Five rectangular compartments in spine show a tiger, a butterfly, a lion and floral sprigs.
