Fragment of the papyrus containing the Book of the Dead of Ta-Amen, Chantress of Amen, Daughter of Disyast, containing chapters 16 to 30, 100 and 125. The vignettes are neatly drawn and placed close to the texts they illustrate.
Said to be from Saqqara, tomb of Ta-amen; by 1892: Martin Brimmer collection; 1892: given to the MFA by Martin Brimmer.
