DescriptionWarp: cotton. Weft: wool and cotton, between 26 and 36 to cm. Design: horizontal bands of conventionalized ornament woven with crimson, olive drab, pink, brownish black and white (cotton) on neutral brownish yellow ground, central band bears six highly conventionalized bird motives; above and below narrower bands with fret design. Slits, some double, used in outlining design. Crimson fringe.
