DescriptionPlain cotton ground, embroidered with polychrome silks, gold yarn and flat gilded wire in stitches resembing satin and double darning stitches; also small areas of drawn work. Fragmentary design shows slender curving branches bearing a variety of blossoms and fine leaves. Fine scalloped flowering branch runs along one short end. Edges bound with braid edging stitch in a variety of colors. Brown stains; hole in ground of a). Metals worn and tarnished.
