This glass jar is made of slightly yellow glass. It has a globular body, flat base, and a wide neck without a rim. Compare to MFA AN 04.1907.

Provenance

Said to be from Abydos. 1903-1904: purchased for the MFA from Abd el-Mageed, Luxor, Egypt by Albert M. Lythgoe as part of a group (04.1907-04.1909) for £3.10. Acquired with funds from the Emily Esther Sears Fund. (Accession Date: January 1, 1904)
