The slightly curved labels are crescent-shaped, with a shield at the center. The label hangs from a link chain. The edges are incised.

Inscription

On each, engraved in the front shield, I/JEB in monogram;, engraved "PORT".

Markings

On back of each, maker's mark TP over ER (Grimwade 2891); sovereign's head, lion passant.
