DescriptionVessel with blue glaze and black slip decoration. Within a broad circle inside bowl are painted four abstract leaf shapes surounded by smaller leaves. Four bands of vertical linew extend from circle to lip. Within each band is a tripartite arrangement having a stylized flower at center under an arch, flanked by leaves. Exterior of bowl is marked below the lip by three narrow bands of black slip; vertically arranged leaves appear at regular intervals around circumference.
InscriptionsIncised "Carl Walters/ 19 [zigzag element] 24" on bottom. Above signature appears a hexagonal symbol at the center of which is a square. Below date apperas an incised sketch of a horse.
