Sides curve to baseband. Gold etched ground, scroll-framed lozenge with sepia landscape & four tiny red landscapes in quatrefoils on each side. Medallion enclosing arms of Hamond front & back. Brown diaper border with insets of birds & landscape.

Each painted and gilt with the arms within an entwined gilt floral and garland border, the well surrounded by a trellis diaper border reserved with panels of landscapes and birds, and on the rim with scroll-edged panels depicting landscape and agricultural views.
