DescriptionBoy's dimity suit of jacket and long breeches with printed cotton trim and button covers; cotton printed in rose bud pattern on white and brown ground with red and black rope.

Jacket (a) with square cut lapels and right front button placket edged with band of cotton print; at center front, row of five functioning buttons on left and row of four decorative buttons (one missing) on right; long sleeves each with single band of cotton print and two decorative buttons on left and one on right (one missing); linen lined neck band and button placket.

Breeches (b) with a wide waistband with narrow band of printed cotton trim along top and down edge of button placket on right, row of four buttons on left side of waistband; front flap edged with same cotton print, center button hole and single button hole in each corner for two buttons at back sides of waistband; fullness at back gathered into waistband; single bands of printed cotton at ends of legs.
