Bracelet

Braided gold wire bracelet. Between the two strands, a gold rosette in the center with a gold lotus flower on each side and gold ornaments alternating with carnelian beads. On each end a lotus flower terminating in a loop fastener.

From Meroe, Pyramid W V, No. 1. January, 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1923: assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
