DescriptionFan of twenty-three closely spaced thin bone blades painted solidly on both sides with polychrome tempera and a little gold, held together at top by green silk ribbon pasted to blades and having a simple painted gold design. On one side an elaborate floral background against which are placed two heart shaped medallions showing classical ruins, central medallion shows seated couple in landscape, smaller medallions near top showing classical ruins, near bottom a band of Asian figures. Other side of fan a landscape with several trees; at least one blade now missing.
