Piec, made up of two fragments sewed together; ground fabric of soft yellow silk taffeta with vertical stripes of white each with two narrow purple stripes; originally shot with silver (most of silver now worn away); over white and purple stripes, a small-scale serpentine of cinquefoils, berries, brocaded with green silk, pinkish-purple frisé silk and silver metal thread; at center seam, incomplete design of minute rosebuds over purple and white stripes; many cracks.
