DescriptionTwo pieces. Brocaded in polychrome silks on a compound satin ground. (b) has a wide satin stripe in the center shading from white through yellow to tan, with scattered small leaf motifs. On either side, a leafy floral vine brocaded on a ribbed silk ground. (a) brocaded with a symmetrical leafy floral vine, with a narrow tan satin stripe at each edge. (b) has selvedge on one side of six cords, the other side turned in and basted. Soiled, worn, holes.
