The sculpturally shaped brooch is in the form of a bunch of grapes (pearls) surrmounted by two gold grape leaves with a stem, and a curled wire representing the vine. The pearls in the front of the bunch are larger than those on the sides, bottom and top of the cluster. They are set into an openwork of metal circles and attached with the thread. The grape leaves on the front of the brooch have a stipled texture. The one on the left which faces forward has a greenish patina. The leaf on the left faces to the back.
The pin stem runs vertically from a bar on the back of the brooch.
Two pearls are missing on the front.
