A half-scale copy of Sam Kramer’s 1952 “Trumpeter” brooch by an unknown maker. An abstracted human figure with one arm raised and holding a trumpet-like form. Cut and shaped sheet silver with semi-precious stones. Spurious marks imitating Sam Kramer’s mark (device of a mushroom in a circle). Stamped “1952.”
