Buddhist altar cloth (uchishiki) with design of large central chrysanthemum, smaller chrysanthemum and paulownia and Seven Treasures pattern of interlocking circular motifs (shippô-tsunagi) and stylized character of crossed bands with Seven Treasures pattern in green, yellow and white silk and gilt paper strip discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a dark blue silk ground.
