DescriptionSeven-columned kesa with decoration of geometric lozenges and peonies. Columns, dividing bands, border: medium-toned blue figured silk with geometric lozenges and peony motifs. The lozenges with floral centers form the background, and large peony motifs float on this surface. Shiten, niten: red figured silk with paulownia and phoenix roundels. Lining: modern addition. This kesa is part of a set with an ohi decorated with geometric lozenges and peonies (60.1165b).
