DescriptionSeven-columned kesa with decoration of geometric lozenges and peonies. Columns, dividing bands, borders: medium-toned blue figured silk with geometric lozenges and peony motifs. The geometric lozenges with floral centers form the background, and large peony motifs float on this surface. Similar to the seven-columned kesa with decoration of geometric lozenges and peonies (60.1165a). Shiten, niten: none. Lining: gray striped plain-weave silk. This kesa is part of a set including the ohi with decoration of geometric lozenges and peonies (60.1164b).
