DescriptionBuddhist priest's stole (ôhi) with decoration of lotus arabesques. Center, border, shiten: Red silk ground with woven-in patterns of lotus arabesques in supplementary wefts of flat gold-leafed paper thread. The motifs are somewhat stylized.
