DescriptionThe majority of the fragments in this group appear to be from the same globular jar. At least two other vessels (possibly more) are represented by a small number of fragments: a small buffware jar and a red polished vessel.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus IV, grave 449. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
