Fine cotton ground, very open tabby weave. Pattern produced by interweaving heavy, twisted white, red, yellow and blue cotton yarns. Main field shows bands of plain ground weave alternating with narrow bands of colored cottons showing stepped chevrons or diagonal stripes. At each end, large white lozenges with narrow red and yellow stripes. Made of two loom widths, seamed. Twisted warp fringe at each end. Fibers browned.
