Inscribed on rear base: AL CANONICO AMBROGIO AMBROSOLI PERCHE NEL MDCCCXLVII IN FIRENZE DAL PERGAMO RICORDANDO LA PATRIA CONTRIBUIVA AL RISORGIMENTO D’ITALIA EMILIO SANTARELLI D D D. Half-length bust of a male figure in clerical garb gazing slightly to his right. His stole carved with a foliate pattern in shallow relief over a lace-edged gathered cotta tied at neck in a bow over a cassock with one button visable and a collar all on a round socle. His hair in loose waves over his head and long sideburns.
