[1] The Brinkley collection was exhibited and sold by Edward Greey. Greey lent this object, on Brinkley’s behalf, to the MFA from June until December 1885. [2] Objects from the sale were shipped February 9, 1886. Allen was President of the MFA and lent this object to the Museum from February 29, 1912 until November 14, 1924.
