DescriptionCircular stick with bulbous acanthus above splayed foot with leaf stamping above straight edge. Two lines of beading, applied anthemion between, below flaring leaf socket. Bacchus heads on beaded cylinder for 3 reverse scroll applied leaf ornamented branches for screwed turned socket; loose disks at base, convex rim and deeply bezeled bobeche. Center socket vase-formed with bobeche for candle or for seated cupid on long bezel (one extra bobeche). Mate to 64.939.

Marks struck on bases and bobeches: LNN in a lozenge, for L. N. Naudin fils; hallmarks (head of Minerva in profile, within circle; standing cockerel and Roman numeral I within octagon) for 1809-1819.
