DescriptionOne of a set of four candlesticks with a molded, domed, shaped circular base with a band of egg and dart molding, followed by a band of alternating shells and floral strapwork with a diaper(?) pattern of dots and quatrefoils in between on a matted ground. A reeded band around the fluted dome leads to a reed and ribbon knop. The knop rises to a squared stem with scalework and foliage on either side and husk on the champfer. The stem gives way to a reeded knop rising to a vase shaped nozzle with a similarly diaper patterned base and an egg and dart rim.
