White chandlestick support edged in gilding in the form of C-scrolls terminates in a white and gilded foliate bobeche. The support rests against a tree-like stump and is surrounded by garlands of leaves and flowers. The scroll-decorated base is surmounted by leaves and flowers and two figures. To the left of the support is a boy on a rocky ledge holding garlands of flowers. To the right, seated on a short plinth, is a girl with outstretched arms. Representing Spring.
