White candlestick support edged in gilding in the form of C-scrolls terminatesin a white and gilded foliate bobeche. The support rests against a tree-like stump and is surrounded by garlands of foliage and berries. The scroll-decor ated base is surmounted by foliage and berries and two figures. A seated girl in winter clothing is huddled against the left side of the support. To the right, seated on a short plinth, is a boy removing ice skates. Representing Winter.
