White candlestick support edged in gilding in the form of C-scrolls terminatesin a white and gilded foliate bobeche. The support rests against a tree-like stump and is surrounded by vines and bunches of grapes. The scroll-decorated base is surmounted by vines and bunches of grapes and two figures. To the left of the support is a girl seated on a wine flask holding bunches of grapes in her apron. To the right, seated on a short plinth, is a boy holding bunchesof grapes in each hand. Representing Autumn.
