Canopics and canopic boxes

This canopic jar is carved of limestone with well smoothed exterior surfaces. It has a fairly narrow base with sides flaring to distinct, high shoulders. No traces of applied hieroglyphic text are evident. The interior is narrow and shoallow. There is an irregular spot on the side.
