Canopics and canopic boxes

This lid for a canopic jar is made of buff-colored pottery and shaped as a human head. It is somewhat roughly formed. The exterior shows signs of treatment with a white slip with faint green tinge. It has cracked in several spots, most notably to the immediate right and left of the face.
