DescriptionCap of cross-barred cotton; center of crown plain, main part of crown cut on bias and gathered full to puff out, forehead band with lappets plain and edged in front with double ruffle of fine linen, single linen ruffle around neck edge; said to have belonged to Hannah Whittredge, born in 1776.
