DescriptionShort hooded cape made of light neutral wool edged with neutral brown velvet, lined with wool; patched, darned; said to have been used by the painter Jean François Millet on a great many of his models; given by Millet to one of his students, Miss Elizabeth Nourse, and by her to the donor's mother.
