Black lace cape and matching separate flounce (shaped) for cape; technique of lace unusually fine; rounded point in back, long slender point in front; border design of intersecting oval medallions each with minute central blossom; ground powdered with minute central blossom; ground powdered with minute dots; against dotted background, small-scale floral swags including wild roses and clusters of minute blossoms; some swags tied with ribbons.
