Carpet of cut and uncut (ciselé) yellow silk pile with design of central lotus(?) blossom from which radiates thick curling stalks with curling leaves and similar blossoms; yellow silk ribbon (probably European) defines a rectangular section in the center panel of the field; border has design of repeating fretwork motif; outside border with a repeating lotus(?) blossom on an undulating leafy stalk; made of three panels pieced lengthwise and lined; rings attached along one edge.
