DescriptionRaffia plain weave skirt composed of patchwork squares measuring approximately three inches by three inches. The design varies from dark gray with natural tan resist patterns made by tie-dyeing to nine-patch squares in alternate gray or tan; edged with finely made dark brown and reddish brown tufted pom-poms reserved for royal use.
