DescriptionChátelaine with three pendants, all of strung glass beads (called sablé) held together with looping stitches, with gilt metal appendages hanging from each pendant. Pink silk lining. White ground with two cupids holding balloon of 21 November 1783 ascension (Paris). Cupid holding heart and crown and two birds on pendants. Good condition, chátelaine hook missing.
