藤十郎は越前の者にて/父母を失ひてのち家財を売払ひて路銀となし/都へ上るみち江州志賀の里にて盗賊に出合/衣類等剥取れ/水中へ捨られしところ/肌着のうちに此長命寺の守佛ありて/ふしぎと光りを放ちければ/漁夫の夜網にかかりて引あげられ蘇生りしかば佛力を尊び/終に長命寺の住僧の弟子となりて普門品をおこたらず誦し/後に堅田村に堂を建て/その命の助かりたる守佛を安置して/猶ふしぎの霊験を蒙りたるとなり/又当山の観音は疱瘡を守り玉ひて/信ずる者はさらに怪我なしといふなり
