Hand candlestick with a cast circular pan, a reeded rim and a slightly molded applied circular base. The nozzle is campana shaped. The curved handle is castwith a foliate base and a plain, slightly shaped terminal.

Inscription

Maker's Mark: a crowned PS with a grain between and a shell (Helft, 1239). Other: Reconnaissance Avignon, about 1730: a crowned A with three cinquefoils (Helft, 1239); Guarantee mark used after 1838 for medium sized works: a small boar's head (Tardy, p.173).
