Equestrian figure, probably Gen. George Monck, first Duke of Albermarle (1608-1670), holding a marshal’s baton, with blue and yellow trappings; striated yellow green and blue ground, and “tufted” trees. Varigated glaze on back, narrow everted rim and foot-rim (pits in glaze, old chips on rim).
